Refund policy

Melissa Blooms Return Policy:

Flower Order Cancellations:

If you need to cancel an order that was placed, please contact Melissa Blooms immediately by phone (307-337-7716) or email melissablooms23@gmail.com. You have 48 hours to cancel your order once it’s been placed. You can choose between store credit or refund. After that period, no refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued once the order is out for delivery.


Updating your order:

If you’d like to change your order to pick up or edit the delivery address on your order, please call or email Melissa at melissablooms23@gmail.com as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate requests. Once the order has left the shop premises, it cannot be changed. You can contact Melissa Blooms with your requests inside business hours M-Th 9-3pm. 

Non-Delivery

If you place an order and the recipient rejects delivery, whatever the reason, Melissa Blooms will not provide a refund and cannot be held liable for the recipient’s decision. If Melissa Blooms is unable to substantiate your claim, Melissa Blooms reserves the right to reject that claim.

This particular issue arises with hospital deliveries as patients may be discharged without notice. Please ensure the recipient will be a patient at the time of delivery. An additional delivery fee must be paid in order to deliver to a new address. 



Quality

Once flowers/ plants leave Melissa Blooms premises/delivery vehicle, Melissa Blooms is no longer responsible for any damages incurred due to improper care, mishandling, transit, weather, etc. If you are unhappy with the quality of your arrangement or plant, please give Melissa a call or email within 24 hours. In most cases, Melissa Blooms will happily replace the flowers that require attention with photos of the damaged products. No refunds or replacements will be made after this period. Nor will refunds or replacements be made based on improper plant or flower care on the part of the recipient. It is up to the recipient to supply the flowers and/or plants with sufficient water/sunlight. 


Flower/Plant Substitutions

Melissa Blooms reserves the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers or plants that are received are not of the quality suitable for your flower order. In this event, the integrity of the proposed color scheme will be maintained and flowers of equivalent value will be used.

Shop Merchandise + Gifts

Melissa Blooms will offer an exchange or store credit for returns on full-priced items (excluding perishables such as candy or live plants, please see “quality” section) in unused condition, within 30 days of purchase. All customers will be prompted to use their customer account when purchasing and/or returning merchandise so that I can bring up your purchase history without needing a physical receipt.  Please provide all original packaging. If purchase was made with no customer account, store credit will be issued.  

Sale Items and Gift Cards

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. They are final sale.
